Hey, I’m gonna be very honest and open in this post because I want you to know a major reason why most networkers make little or no money at all even after being in the business for over a year. To be honest, lots of people have succeeded in different network marketing opportunities, and lots more have not.
Why Do People FAIL In Network Marketing?
I believe that there are no failures in network marketing, only quitters! The #1 reason why people don’t make money in network marketing is that “They Don’t Take It Seriously” And I mean that. For starters, mlm opportunities are considered to be for losers, idle housewives, unemployed people and those who have nothing else better to do etc
Most people think that to QUALIFY for a BUSINESS you need a large capital, just as you were taught in school. So how am I going to start a business by investing so little money, that too on buying a product or service. I feel like I’m shopping for something I want, I honestly don’t feel like I’m starting a Business. The process makes you feel like you could maybe get your initial money back and maybe make a little profit over the price you paid for it.
That’s the biggest problem there. Let me remind you that your business opportunity is a part of a billion dollar industry. The people who have been successful in it are the ones who took it seriously as their business. Any business can make millions ONLY if it is managed well.
You Can Sell Anything If You Put Your Mind To It
A perfect example of selling anything is “People are selling SAND and making money” Free sand that’s found on the beach. If I picked up a handful of sand from a beach and asked you to pay me $10 for it, you would probably slap me. Yet everyday people spend up to $100 for sand that’s been put in a nice little bottle and a ribbon tied on the neck, making it look like a pretty gift. Bottom line is they just purchased SAND.
A whole lot of people will join your opportunity and say “Well, I’ll try it and see if it works first, if it does then I’ll take it up seriously” This is the attitude that makes most network marketers quit soon. If I told you I’ll invest $100,000 in a restaurant and see if it works first, and if it does I’ll then take it up seriously, do you think that restaurant will work? No! It will only work if you take it seriously first, the same applies to YOUR business.
Don’t think that you spent $300 to join your opportunity and that if you make $1000 in the next few months you’ll be happy that at least you didn’t lose any money on it. That is the wrong attitude to have.
For example, if your opportunity can pay you up to $50,000 a month, that’s $600,000 a year. You’re attitude should be that you have $600,000 worth of stock in your store room. You need to sell as much of it as possible, as fast as possible, to make the most profit for your business. THAT would be approach of a business man. Most network marketers don’t consider themselves as being businessmen or businesswomen, because they don’t see this as a REAL business (i.e. one in which we have invested a large capital)
Take a look again at your current business opportunity’s maximum income potential per year and ask yourself these questions? Is this an attainable income? Have other people already earned this kind of incomes in your opportunity? How much do you want to make out of it this year? Is what you’re doing presently going to help you make that much money? If yes, great keep going. If no, what strategic moves do you have to make to work towards achieving that goal?
Can I Honestly Run A Business?
Your business will NOT succeed if you don’t take it seriously, period! If you can’t run a business that has NO overheads, NO staff payments, NO office rent, NO legal hassles, NO manufacturing of products, etc (because all of these have been taken care of by your company) then you most definitely would NOT be able to run a business that will require you in all those departments as well.
Every business involves a lot of hard work, a lot of rejections, a lot of disappointments, a lot of learning to get over these disappointments, depression at times. Your current business opportunity is NO DIFFERENT! It’s YOUR BUSINESS and if you don’t take it seriously it won’t work.
I hope this will give you some motivation to get back on your feet and do what you have to do to make your business successful. Remember this quote “Successful people do all the things that unsuccessful people don’t, even if they don’t like doing them”
